Positive energy for R&J Batteries 2024 livery

We’re very excited to reveal the 2024 warpaint on the #8 R&J Batteries Camaro which will once again be driven by Andre Heimgartner.

With geometric shapes racing up the bodylines of the ZL1 and the rear panels taking on a darker shade, we may be biased, but we think the Camaro is all around striking.

The fierce stature of the Camaro, painted with PPG and wrapped with thanks to 3M vinyl, provides a natural on-track beast - an imposing sight in the rearview mirror. Even Brad Jones had to say ““This has to be one of my favourite R&J Batteries liveries, it’s a stunning car.”

R&J Batteries have been the major sponsor of Heimgartner’s car since he arrived at BJR and together we’ve been a force to be reckoned with.

In July of last year we announced a two year sponsorship extension with BJR, taking the relationship to 2025. R&J Batteries has been a part of the BJR family since 2020 and coming into the new Supercars season we are excited to be paired again with the rising star of Heimgartner.

“We are exited to be onboard with BJR & with Andre behind the wheel for the 2024 season.” Says Ray Robson, Managing Director of R&J Batteries. “The new R&J Batteries livery looks great & we welcome onboard the new sponsors for this season. With mixed results last year we are looking forward to improving & hopefully find some more consistency in this very competitive field.”

“The partnership with Brad & BJR team is great for the R&J Brand, plus Andre is a great ambassador for our business which makes the deal worthwhile and enjoyable. Can’t wait for the first round at Bathurst in a few weeks time!”, continued Ray.

Heimgartner finished the previous year 7th in the Drivers’ Championship, making his mark with six podium finishers across the year and a pole position.

His sights are set higher coming into the fresh season armed with his engineer Tony Woodward, the quick Kiwi is hungry for more.

“R&J Batteries have pulled together another stunning livery, I’m very excited by the whole paint scheme - if it goes as good as it looks we’re in for a great year.” remarked Andre Heimgartner who believes this year is going to be a big opportunity for BJR.

Pictured by the beautiful and scenic Murray River, the #8 Camaro lays in wait for the start of the new racing season.
