Hankook Batteries now Available at R&J Batteries

We’re excited to introduce Hankook Batteries to the Australian market, as KOBA transitions to the Hankook brand from mid January 2026.

This change marks an exciting new chapter for the range, while continuing to deliver the same high quality battery solutions Australian customers know and trust.

Hankook offers a broad range of battery technologies designed to suit everything from everyday passenger vehicles to commercial operations and leisure applications. These applications are covered by 3 battery technologies:

• Maintenance Free (MF) batteries are ideal for standard vehicles, delivering dependable starting power with a low maintenance design for everyday driving.
• Enhanced Flooded Batteries (EFB) are built for vehicles with higher electrical demands, including Idle Stop Start (ISS) systems and frequent short trips, offering improved durability and cycling performance over conventional flooded batteries.
• Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) batteries sit at the premium end of the range, providing strong charge acceptance, reliable performance and an extended service life in extreme conditions, making them well suited to modern vehicles with advanced electronics as well as heavy duty applications.
