Future of ACDelco after Holden brand ceases

The recent news about the Holden brand ceasing at the end of 2020 has come as a shock. Not only due to it being such an iconic brand, but also due to the very close relationship R&J Batteries has with GMH. Many friends and associates will be affected, and our thoughts are with each and every one of them.

Understandably there is concern about the future of ACDelco. R&J Batteries can confirm the availability of ACDelco products is unaffected by yesterday’s announcement that General Motors will be retiring the Holden brand in Australia and New Zealand.

Holden owners will continue to be supported by a national aftersales network for at least 10 years. Customers can be assured that Holden will honour all warranties and servicing agreements, as well as providing spare parts, repair, service and any required recall or field actions

As part of General Motors and for over 100 years, ACDelco has been a world leader in the automotive aftermarket providing a wide range of quality products for the automotive replacement parts and service industry. Its range of batteries, spark plugs, oil, fluids and air filters, wiper blades and brake components will continue.

R&J Batteries will continue to support their ACDelco stockist and distributor programs, with no interruption or changes.
